문서는 기기 안에서 처리합니다

루트PDF는 PDF 파일, 문서 내용, 필기, 파일 이름 및 읽기 기록을 개발자의 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 회원가입, 광고, 사용자를 추적하는 분석 도구를 사용하지 않습니다.

책장과 읽기 설정

책장에 추가한 PDF 사본, 폴더 정보, 읽던 페이지 및 보기 설정은 앱의 기기 내 저장 공간에 보관합니다. 책장에서 문서를 삭제하면 해당 사본과 책장 기록을 삭제합니다. 파일 앱의 원본은 유지됩니다. 앱을 삭제하면 앱의 로컬 데이터도 삭제됩니다. 중요한 문서는 파일 앱 등 별도 위치에 보관해 주세요. 기기 백업의 포함 여부와 보관은 사용자의 Apple 백업 설정에 따릅니다.

파일 가져오기와 내보내기

파일 앱에서 직접 선택한 문서를 가져옵니다. iCloud Drive 또는 다른 파일 제공자의 파일을 선택하면 해당 서비스가 다운로드를 처리할 수 있습니다. 사용자가 공유·저장 위치를 선택하면 해당 앱 또는 서비스에 파일이 전달됩니다. 이러한 서비스에는 각 제공자의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다.

Pro 구매

Pro 결제와 구매 복원은 Apple App Store가 처리합니다. 앱은 Apple이 확인한 거래 정보를 사용하여 Pro 이용 권한을 확인합니다. 개발자는 결제 카드 정보에 접근하지 않습니다. Apple은 자체 정책에 따라 결제 정보를 처리하고 개발자에게 판매·정산 보고서를 제공할 수 있습니다.

문의

문의 이메일을 보내는 경우 사용자가 제공한 이메일 주소와 문의 내용을 답변 및 문제 해결 목적으로 처리합니다. 해결 후 불필요한 정보는 삭제하며, 법령상 보관 의무가 있는 경우 해당 기간 동안 보관합니다. 민감한 원본 PDF 대신 개인정보가 없는 예시나 오류 설명을 보내 주세요. 문의 및 삭제 요청: [email protected]

정책 변경

기능이나 데이터 처리 방식이 변경되면 앱과 공개 정책 페이지에 안내합니다. 적용일: 2026년 10월 20일.

Privacy Policy

Files stay on your device

rootPDF does not send PDF contents, annotations, file names or reading history to developer servers. There are no accounts, ads or tracking analytics.

Local library and settings

Imported PDF copies, folders, reading positions and display preferences are stored in the app on your device. Deleting a book removes the library copy and its library record, while leaving the original file in Files unchanged. Deleting the app removes local app data. Keep separate copies of important documents. Device backups follow your Apple backup settings.

Import and export

You choose which documents to import. iCloud Drive or another file provider may download the selected document. When you export or share a file, it is sent to the destination you choose. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Purchases

Apple handles Pro payments and purchase restoration. The app checks verified Apple transactions to determine access to Pro. The developer does not receive payment card details. Apple may provide sales and financial reports to the developer under its policies.

Support and deletion requests

When you email [email protected], we use the email address and information you voluntarily provide to respond and troubleshoot. Unneeded information is deleted after resolution unless retention is required by law. Do not send sensitive original PDFs; use a non-personal example or describe the error.

Changes

Changes to functionality or data practices will be reflected in the app and this policy. Effective date: October 20, 2026.
